Parting with the Poof

For the first five months of her life, Kaley had a magnificent Poof. I won't reveal if it was natural, or the result of hours of teasing and heating, but whatever it was, we all loved it. Au voir lovely levitating locks!

Gong Xi Fa Choi!

What better way to celebrate like good Chinese (or half-Chinese) children than to eat! And we love to eat. Kaley got her first taste of solids today. Mamma gave her some hippy rice cereal. I have developed a much more refined palette. I love to gobble up Pesto!

Kaley has this fancy new marshmallow-like seat that they must have gotten from a Smurf garage sale. Man, she gets all the cool stuff.

Four months ago....

I was an only child. A very happy only child. But now I am a very happy big brother to Kaley. I think she's cute. And has magnficent hair.

Thanks to our Singapore pals Jerm and Soo Hui for the hand-crafted teddy bears. We will be sending them to the CPSC, however, for further inspection.

Ow! I feel good!

Baby, it's been a long time away from the bloglands, but I've been a very busy Noa... my little sister Kaley was born back in Sept, went to Tahoe for funtastic Thanksgiving at Gemma's cool Donner rumpus house , LA for sunny Holidays (where else can you poop on a COW?), and now I am Pee-Oh-Tee-tee-Why Trained!

Here's me in my cool James Blue shirt that Steve Yee got me last year. I don't know why my mom keeps calling this shirt Brown.... duh.

It's a penguin.... it's a garbage truck....

It's Super Potty Trained Boy!

Now that I'm all big and grownd up, I don't wear footy pjs anymore. You know, I need that easy-access. Gramma got me this caped wonder so I'm flying high in my crib now.

I am in Love

Dear Baby Kaley. Thank you for becoming my little sister today. I hope you're never smarter than me. Love, Noa

Today, I am Two

I still have so many more things to learn about the world around me.
Like where Thomas the Train comes from. I am 28 pounds and an inch shy of 3-feet grandeur. Ruling the world will probably come easy to me.

Breakfast Bedhead

My A-gong has been visiting me from L.A. since daycare is closed for 2 weeks and Ma has to work. He's from the old country where the day starts early. *Yawn* I think even the roosters are still sleeping.

Aloha ya'll!

We Carter flew to Waikiki for Jennifer and Christian's big wedding at the classic Moana Surfrider hotel. I was kind to my parents and didn't do anything too randy on the airplane, except for the fork incident, but I don't the Teen pageant girl and her family behind us didn't get as uppity as Daddy did.

Some of the highlights of this trip: Swimming with all my cousins, Uncles, & Aunts, crashing out on Grandma's bed (who needs a crib anyhow?), crashing breakfast at the IHOP across the street and eating a lemon, experiencing the Massage chairs at our hotel - The Wyland Waikiki, checking out the wedding bling w/ Uncle Christian (now I know why he needed my Cash before), and giving the clueless groom some enlightenment before the ceremony.

One small eating step for man...

So now that I can hold and spoon/fork with out poking out my eye and drink from a cup without dribbling most of it down my double chin, don't I deserve table service like the rest of mankind? Ba-bye high chair.

Hello Jasper

I have a new cousin.

Lilypie 6th to 18th Ticker

Yay, another smaller someone to boss around! Gemma's brother was over a week overdue and only came out when they started the Pitocin on Ayi Philly. I can't wait to see Gemma now that she's gotta SHARE everything. Ha ha... Oh wait, that's gonna be me in the Fall.
Lilypie Expecting a baby Ticker

In other news, I'm fully integrated into my new daycare in Piedmont, Ashley's House. After only a few days, I've stopped those silly tears when Mom/Dad leave me and don't want to leave when they pick me up, unless something F-O-O-D related is mentioned. According to Ashley, my favorite activity is Lunch Time, and my 2nd most favorite activity is Snack Time. Luckily, I have enough outdoor activity to keep me fit and trim, minus a wee bit of babychub.

The future's kinda bright

Happy Fourth of July, dudes. We celebrated at my mansion, in my jacuzzi, with all my hot friends.

Men in Trees

Today, we dropped a few grand to get the backyard oak trees trimmed. Hope this means a Treehouse is on the way. It was all very fascinating to see someone climbing without getting a barrage of NO's thrown at them.

School looks fun

When I get to 3rd grade, I hope that I can be in Mr. Carter's class. My ma and pa got to visit P.S. 6 in NYC last week, while the abandoned me in LA with A-mah, A-gong and Gemma. Sure I had a lot of fun, but they seemed to have more fun without me. Sniff.

The Fonz is Back

This is the same jacket my dad wore 30-something years ago. Luckily Grandma had it in storage just waiting for Cool, part deux, to mosey into town.

Snoa Bunny

Went to Tahoe Donner. Met my pal Leila (from Salt Lake City). Gemma came along too. Oodles of bone-chilling fun. Our favorite activity was hacking away at the snow mound on the balcony with salad serving implements.

Shoes make the man

It was raining meows and woofs last week so I had to tromp around in stiff, unwieldy foot apparel. Getting up after falling down was a near impossible feat in these unkind, yet jocular boots.

But when the sun came out, I was ready to don my hecka-cool Vans, courtesy of Uncle Ernie and Paul. Sure they hurt like a muthah to get on, but the fashion euphoria is worth the pain, especially when paired this a piece of sleek German engineering like this. Watch out ladies.
